1st Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade
Mark your calendars for a brand new event coming to Downtown Mount Vernon- The first Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade!
Hosted by MV Mariachi and Latinos in Action, this event will bring mariachis, folklorico dancers, dancing horses and more through the heart of downtown for a lively celebration of Cinco de Mayo. This inaugural event promises to be a fiesta like no other, bringing together the entire community to celebrate!
Parade will start down 1st Street in Downtown Mount Vernon right at 5pm so show up early and grab a good spot to watch!

40th annual Tulip Festival Street Fair
The Tulip Festival Street Fair invites you to historic Downtown Mount Vernon, April 19-21, 2024, for a long weekend of art, music, and festivities.
Daily Schedule:
Friday, 10am- 6pm · Saturday, 10am-6pm · Sunday, 10am-5pm
Join us as 140+ artisan vendors, entertainers, and food trucks gather in beautiful Downtown Mount Vernon for the annual Tulip Festival Street Fair! Explore streets lined with handmade goods and artisan creations, food trucks with delicious fare, and live music all three days on the “Tulip Tunes” stage in Pine Square. We can’t wait to welcome you to this years celebration of craftsmanship and community!
