Trick or Treat on 1st Street
Join us for Downtown Mount Vernon’s Annual Trick-or-Treat, where families come downtown for a fun and safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. Bring your costumed kiddos (and selves!) and stroll around to grab goodies from participating businesses on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Enter into our photo costume contest by tagging @mountvernonwa on Instagram or Facebook, winner gets a delicious downtown prize! :)
No worries if you can’t get there right at 4, trick or treating goes all the way until 6 so show up whenever you can!

With over 30 wines to choose from, you’ll be bound to find a favorite to take home. Ticket holders will be given exclusive access to special promotions and specials throughout the district that night, making it the perfect opportunity to get an early start on holiday shopping while supporting local. Santa’s coming to town! Kick-off the Holiday Season and create family memories at Mount Vernon’s Annual Holiday Parade - see below for parade route map and list of entries.

Parade starts at 5:00PM. This family-friendly event is sponsored this year by WECU and produced by the Mount Vernon Downtown Association with the help of the City of Mount Vernon. Continue celebrating the season by grabbing a bite to eat at our delicious restaurants and cafes!

Pigs on the Wing: Echoes of Pink Floyd tour
Pigs on the Wing’s 2024-2025 tour, “Echoes of Pink Floyd”, is a second act to the band’s previous year’s tour. As before, the Echoes of Pink Floyd tour will feature a new selection of the very best of classic-era Pink Floyd cuts organized into 2 distinct sets. Rather than performing a single album from start to end, expect to hear the band focus on their favorite sections of the classic albums, including hits, deep cuts, and the band’s trademark willingness to explore the sonic space in experimental improvisation. Fans can expect an immersive visual show in a don’t-miss event for any Pink Floyd fan!

The Tulip Festival Street Fair invites you to historic Downtown Mount Vernon, April 18-20, 2025, for a long weekend of art, music, and festivities.
