Downtown Mount Vernon Welcomes Pegasus Pie Company

Meet Megan Casad, owner of Pegasus Pie Co.!

Originally hailing from Oklahoma, Megan will be opening her first brick-and-mortar location in downtown Mount Vernon, in the space formerly known as Valley Shine Distillery.

Started as a hobby and passion project during the pandemic, Pegasus Pie Co. has been selling out at farmers markets in Seattle, Bellingham, and everywhere in between since 2020. The pies are made from scratch daily with local fruits and berries. In the new space, Megan will be selling her famous fruit pies, cream pies, savory pies, and some breakfast pastries. She envisions Pegasus Pie Co. being a place where people can come in and dwell for a while, whether in the company of a friend or with just their piece of pie and hot cup of coffee.

Pegasus Pie Co. aims to open in time for the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so be sure to follow the scent of baked goodness right to 320 S. 1st Street starting in late April!
