Polished brings beauty professionals together in Downtown Mount Vernon

Polished, located in Downtown Mount Vernon, is a beauty collective offering services from professionals such as nails, lash lifts, brow tints, spray tans, tattoos, and more. Jordyn Boisvert, owner of Polished, created the space to uplift beauty industry professionals and help people feel beautiful.
There are four women in total at Polished: Boisvert does manicures and pedicures, while two women are practicing estheticians, and one is a tattoo artist. Boisvert practice specializes in natural nails; she prioritizes natural nail health, structure gel, and detailed nail care.
I just knew there was a way that you could have pretty nails, but healthily, to support your natural nails,” said Boisvert.
Boisvert spent much of her free time doing nails; it has always been something she's loved to do. She has been a practicing nail tech for five years; before opening Polished in Downtown Mount Vernon, she rented a booth at a local spa. Having her own space was a longtime dream, something she was finally able to accomplish in 2025 at the age of 24.
She decided to open her own space because it offered more flexibility with her schedule and the services she could provide, while allowing her to build stronger relationships with her clients. She noticed that large-scale salons experience such an overload of customers that you miss out on the opportunity to interact with clients and build relationships.
“It’s in and out, there are so many desks, and I feel like you don't really get to know your client in that way, and I like having that relationship,” said Boisvert.
Boisvert talent and dedication to her craft really shine; she won Skagit Valley's Best of the Best community choice award for best nail salon both in 2025 and 2026. In the future, she hopes to grow Polished so she can support other independent professionals in the beauty industry.
